Getting into Amsterdam from Schiphol and the cruise port
Schiphol is 17 km from Centraal, and the NS train runs about every 8 minutes at 5.50 euros, through the night at a reduced pace. The cruise terminal on Piet Heinkade is a 15 minute walk from the station, with tram 26 for one stop. Sea cruise calls here are capped at about 100 a year, so some ships use IJmuiden or Rotterdam instead.
