Getting into Athens from the airport and Piraeus cruise port
Athens Airport is about 38 km from Syntagma Square, and metro line 3 takes about 40 minutes for 9 euros while the X95 bus runs all night for 5.50 euros. Piraeus cruise port is only 12 km away, with metro line 3 or 1 at 1.20 euros, though the berths are a 15 to 30 minute walk from the stations. Airport taxis moved to a 50 euro flat fare in September 2026.
