Naples Airport to the cruise port: Alibus, taxi, transfer
Naples airport is only 8 km from the cruise port, and it is one of the easier airport-to-port trips in Italy. The Alibus runs direct to Molo Beverello for 5 euros, and the official taxi fare to the port is a fixed 24 euros for the car. For two or more people with bags the taxi is almost the same price as the bus and much easier.

- → Molo Angioino and Molo Beverello, by the Stazione Marittima
The Alibus goes from the airport to Piazza Garibaldi in about 15 minutes and on to the port, about 35 minutes in all. A single costs 5 euros, sold at the machines by the arrivals exit, from the driver, in the Unico Campania app or by contactless card at the validator. Validate it as you board. ANM lists the same hours every day, with the first departure from the airport at 05:30 and the last at 00:00. The terminus is beside the Stazione Marittima, a short walk from the cruise terminal.

The city's predetermined fare from the airport to the port, Molo Beverello and Piazza Municipio is 24 euros per taxi. It covers luggage, night, holiday and airport supplements. Ask for the tariffa predeterminata before you set off, and ask for a receipt. Motorway tolls and the 5 euro minivan supplement for more than four passengers are extra. The drive takes about 25 minutes in normal traffic.

- → The cruise terminal
A pre-booked sedan for up to three passengers starts at about 50 euros, with night pickups usually costing more. The driver tracks your flight, so a late landing does not change the price. It is about twice the official taxi fare, and it buys a named driver at arrivals and a drop-off at the terminal door.

Arriving late at night
At 00:30 the Alibus has stopped, because the last departure from the airport is at 00:00. The shared taxi publishes no hours, so do not count on it. The rank outside arrivals is the answer, with the fixed fare of 24 euros to the port including the night supplement. Ask for the fixed fare before you get in. A pre-booked car avoids the queue and fixes the price before you land, which matters for an early sailing.
See the comparison →4 people, 4 suitcasesTravelling as a group of four
Four people on the Alibus pay 20 euros in total. The shared taxi is 24 euros for four, but it needs three passengers and a wait. The official taxi is 24 euros for the whole car, so 6 each, only 1 euro more per person than the bus and door to door. From two people up the fixed taxi fare is almost the same as the Alibus, and with cases it is easier. A private sedan seats three, so four people need the taxi.
See the comparison →Practical tips
- For a cruise, leave a margin. Land at least three hours before all-aboard, because the Alibus ride is 35 minutes and the terminal check-in takes time.
- Ask for the tariffa predeterminata before you get in. Without it the meter runs and adds a 5 euro airport supplement.
- The Alibus ticket cannot be replaced with a normal city pass. Buy the 5 euro ticket at the machines by the arrivals exit.
- The Alibus terminus is at Molo Angioino and Molo Beverello, beside the Stazione Marittima. Check which pier your ship uses.
- Take only a white taxi from the rank. Drivers who approach you in the arrivals hall are not licensed.
- The shared taxi waits for three passengers and has no published hours, so it is a bonus rather than a plan.
